About CLiCAM

The CLiCAM project will cultivate participating ERA talents into leaders who will make innovation happen through intersectoral collaboration. The innovation leadership provided by ERA talents shall transform participating research organizations from widening countries into innovation beacons turning basic research into sustainable prosperity in the fields of coatings and additive manufacturing. In doing so, the project will create an R&I ecosystem contributing to the development of relevant key enabling technologies across three domains critical for Europe’s technological sovereignty: advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, and life-science technologies.

Project results

CLiCAM as the ERA Talents project aims to boost the interoperability of careers and employability of research and innovation talents across sectors, with a center of gravity in Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Poland. The project is expected to contribute to the following outcomes:

  • Strengthened human capital base in R&I of Widening countries, with more entrepreneurial and better-trained researchers, innovators, and other R&I talents;
  • A more balanced talent circulation, both geographical and cross-sectoral;
  • Boosted R&I capacity and R&I support capacity, as well as contribution to increased excellence of the research-performing organisation in widening countries;
  • A more structured and impactful collaboration between academia and businesses;
  • Increased set of research, entrepreneurial, and other transferable skills and competencies;
  • Improved employability and sustainable career prospects of diverse talents within academia, industry, and beyond

Partners

The consortium consists of four academic partners from three so-called widening countries – Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Poland who are sending their ERA Talents to seven industrial partners from so-called advanced countries – Austria, Germany, France, and two industrial partners from Poland.
