TRENCIANSKA UNIVERZITA ALEXANDRA DUBCEKA V TRENCINE (TNUAD) will be represented by Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass (FunGlass) which has been supported by H2020 Teaming grant to upgrade the existing Centre of excellence for ceramics, glass, and silicate materials in Trenčín, SK, to internationally recognized Centre. It focuses on R&I activities in the field of glass with specific functional properties (luminescent, electric), functionalization of conventional glasses to give them new properties, and the utilisation of waste materials to produce glass and glass-ceramics with high added value with the use of advanced technologies, including AM.
