We are proud to be successful! In 2021, Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass (FunGlass) ranked among remarkable projects in the Spreading Excellence And Widening Participation - Success stories, where highlighted as a center of excellence in glass research, recognized at national and international level. Thanks to exemplary cooperation with partners from Jena, Erlangen, Padua and Madrid, FunGlass won legitimate sympathies among projects under Horizon 2020 (NCP_WIDE.NET, 2021). Four years after, CLiCAM records the same milestone!

Among 17 presented projects, Cultivating Leaders for Innovative Coatings and Additive Manufacturing Applications (CLiCAM) is introduced as a success story in the ERA Talents section that focuses on boosting the flow of talents across industry-business-academia sectors, their professional career development and thus, supporting the overall employability of research capacities. Presentation of CLiCAM's success story is based on the effort to cross boundaries between academic and business sphere through arranging practical trainings of research prospects at industrial partners. This concept of hands-on experience has already helped dozens of PhD. students from around the world to prepare for their role of future leaders (NCP_WIDERA.NET, 2025).
