As part of Thursday’s workshop on Mechanical Testing of Materials, held at CEITEC BUT and coordinated by Metalco, participants had a unique opportunity to explore the latest advancements in material testing techniques. To make this event accessible to a wider audience, an online webinar was organized alongside the in-person session, allowing experts and researchers from different locations to take part remotely.

The webinar, titled “Modern Technologies and Innovative Applications in Mechanical Testing,” was led by two highly regarded specialists from INSTRON, Chris Freeman and Fakher Elsaady. Throughout the session, they shared their extensive expertise on state-of-the-art testing equipment, innovative methodologies, and real-world applications that are shaping the future of materials research. Their presentations offered valuable insights into modern testing systems, providing participants with both theoretical understanding and practical knowledge directly from industry leaders.

Our CLiCAM project industrial partners were invited to took full advantage of this opportunity to attend the professional lecture, gaining new knowledge, inspiration, and valuable experience that will support ongoing project activities and collaborations.
