Our special recognition goes to CLiCAM ERA talent, Dr. Amirhossein Pakseresht, for his contribution in sharing innovative knowledge into ongoing and future projects of FunGlass center.

Earlier in 2024, Amir went through a three-month training at Treibacher Industries AG, in their Thermal Spray Centre, equipped with atmospheric plasma spray technologies and a wide range of powders and coatings testing technologies, where he received valuable knowledge in areas of advanced Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBCs), plasma-sprayable powder preparation, project management, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

Upon his return, Amir is now focused on transferring the knowledge and skills, gained during the Treibacher training, to members of the FunGlass Department of Coatings, so they can implement best practices and apply innovative techniques in their research.
