We are excited to announce that our ERA talent Assoc. Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht has started a three-month industrial collaboration with PMG-Ouest Coating in Saint-Nazaire (France), as a part of the CLICAM project. His work primarily focuses on the development of anti-sticking plasma-sprayed ceramic coatings for industrial rollers.
With a professional support from Dr. Sébastien Beauvais, a quality assurance specialist at Ouest Coating, this secondment aims to investigate the influence of coating composition, surface roughness and wettability on the anti-adhesion behavior of ceramic coatings used in various industrial applications, including polymer film processing, packaging and textile rollers, paper manufacturing systems, and wear-resistant industrial components.
