Lithoz GmbH (Lithoz) is an R&D driven SME which develops and commercializes additive manufacturing (AM) hardware (3D printers) and the corresponding materials (inks) for high-performance ceramics based upon the patented Lithography-based Ceramic Manufacturing (LCM) technology, a variant of vat photopolymerization (VPP) techniques. Having commercialized its first dedicated 3D printer for ceramics in 2012, Lithoz has an extensive background in lithographic AM of high-performance ceramics. Lithoz is the world market and technology leader in the field of AM of high-performance ceramics and has developed and commercialized different 3D printers and more than 15 different ceramic materials for use in lithographic AM, including oxide, non-oxide, and cermet materials. Lithoz has a strong R&D focus in all technologically relevant areas (mechanical engineering, materials, and software) with special laboratories and infrastructure.
