Prof. Kang's expertise is extensive, with over 300 published papers on sintering and microstructural evolution in ceramics and metals. He authored the seminal text 'Sintering: Densification, Grain Growth and Microstructure' in 2005 and is renowned for developing the 'Pore Filling Theory' of liquid phase sintering.
