We are pleased to share that CLiCAM ERA talents, Dr. Rajesh Mundotia and Dr. Omid Sharifahmadian recently presented detailed results of various trials, conducted with the coatings on technical textiles for Low-E applications. The aim of this campaign is to gain comprehensive understanding of coating materials and optimal process parameters for different textiles substrates.
The experimental results were discussed in depth with the technical process engineering team at AGC Interpane, Germany, including Dr. Hansjörg Weis, Dr. Rebeca Correia and Mr. Nils Mainusch. This session sparked a highly productive exchange of innovative ideas focused on enhancing overall textile functionality for potential real-world applications.

Following the successful review of these results, the team mapped out future experimental goals. The core focus remains on advancing Low-E functionality to push boundaries of what is possible in the field of technical textiles. This advanced industrial exposure further strengthens CLiCAM ERA Talents’ expertise in thin-film deposition technologies, directly supporting ongoing R&D initiatives within the CLiCAM project framework.
