We’re excited to share highlights from the launch of the Innovation Leadership Programme, part of the CLiCAM project, which took place from April 1st to 3rd, 2025, at the Wroclaw Centre for Technology Transfer (WUST / Politechnika Wrocławska) in Poland.
The three-day training brought together participants from Wust, FunGlass, CEITEC BUT, IPP, 3D Center, and Castolin, along with experts, for an in-depth exploration of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Technology Transfer. The programme began with a comprehensive introduction to IPR delivered by Piotr Otreba from WUST, who provided a strong foundation for understanding the fundamentals of protecting research outputs and intellectual property. Building on this, Andrzej Zurawowicz from Funky Business Consulting shared his insights and practical tips, helping participants better understand complex topics and making the sessions both accessible and engaging.
In addition to IPR-focused learning, the workshop addressed key aspects of technology transfer, including commercialization strategies, investor pitching, financial planning, and legal considerations. These sessions were led by Tomasz Marciniszyn and supported by real-life examples shared by Daniel Strub (both from WUST).
This inaugural workshop in Wroclaw was a great success, thanks to the contributions of our dedicated instructors and the flawless organization by Paweł Sokołowski. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone involved for making this event a meaningful and impactful learning experience.
What’s Next?
The next workshop of the Innovation Leadership Programme will take place in Trenčín, from June 30 to July 2, 2025, and will focus on business plan preparation, strategic decision-making, and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset.
We look forward to continuing this inspiring journey—and can’t wait to see you in Trenčín!
