Assoc. Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht, head of the Coating Processes Department at FunGlass Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass, participated in a successful joint meeting with the industrial partner, aimed at strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.

During the meeting at PMG-Ouest Coating in Saint-Nazaire, our ERA talent also participated in a training focused on key enterprise and industrial R&D skills, including innovation, knowledge transfer and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), project and time management in industrial R&D, customer interaction and industrial communication, trust-building in industry, as well as networking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in an industrial environment.

Thanks to the support from Dr. Sébastien Beauvais, a quality assurance specialist at PMG-Ouest Coating, Amir had a great opportunity to present current research activities and ongoing projects of the Coating Department at FunGlass, during the meeting. Particular attention was given to identifying common research interests and discussing opportunities for future joint research projects and continued collaboration.
