On June 27th, the CLiCAM project hosted the inaugural meeting of its Advisory Board. Held online, the meeting was led by Prof. Dušan Galusek, who is the director of the FunGlass Centre and the coordinator of the CLiCAM project.

The Advisory Board plays a crucial role in guiding the project. It acts as an advisory body to the CLiCAM Supervisory Board, which is the main decision-making body. The board’s job is to offer valuable insights and recommendations to help lead the project in the right direction.

During the meeting, Prof. Galusek highlighted how important the board’s input will be for the project's success. He stressed the need for collaboration and innovative thinking as they move forward.

The Advisory Board consists of four members from the leading European academic institutions with a track record of impacts for intersectoral collaboration:

• Alicia Durán – CSIC-Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (Spanish National Research Council)- Institute of Ceramic and Glass,
• prof. Enrico Bernardo - Università degli Studi di Padova (University of Padova)- Department of Industrial Engineering,
• Hanna Myalska - Głowacka – Silesian University of Technology- Department of material Technologies,
• Robert Vaβen-  Forschungszentrum Jülich- Institute of Energy and Climate Research  

This first meeting set a positive tone for future collaborations, and everyone is looking forward to seeing the board's contributions shape the CLiCAM project.
